I have decided to start analyzing the artifact of the organization, Planned Parenthood, using Pentadic Criticism.

Act- The promotion of women with unexpected pregnanies to get an abortion.
Scene-reactions to the organization's beliefs and the controversies it arises.
Agent-Planned Parenthood Organization.
Agency-The women with unexpected pregnancies.
Purpose- To provide information for women experiencing unexpected pregnancies and help them find clincs.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, let me say that I think that the Planned Parenthood artifact will be very interesting to use. It is always a hot point of discussion and opinion, so kudos for choosing something so controversial! I definetly think that you should use the Pentadic form of criticism, because the layout makes it easier to handle such a big artifact.
I am such a big fan of doing outlines when I begin a paper, so naturally, I am going to suggest after doing all of these steps that Pentadic Criticism requires, an outline could help to form the actual paper.
All in all, I think you have a really good thing going here, and at this point I just hope I am doing this assignment right!
